PEGA AL-10 — AL-10 IPM Fault (Overcurrent H/W)
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- IPM fault / hardware overcurrent
- Possible causes: motor/encoder cable short, parameter (motor ID 0x2000) mismatch with motor label, drive fault, or mechanical conflict/binding
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
- Check output/encoder wiring for short, match motor-label info to parameters, inspect the equipment for binding
- If it persists after phase-current offset tuning, replace the drive
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
