PEGA AL-16 — AL-16 Current Limit Exceeded (Overcurrent H/W)
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- Current limit exceeded (hardware overcurrent)
- Possible causes: noise on wiring, FG wiring/size, parameter mismatch, or drive fault
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
Improve wiring noise (match FG wire size to the main circuit), verify parameters, and replace the drive if it persists.
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
