iG5A ETB — External Trip B (EtB)
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- The terminal set to "19 (External fault-B)" in I20-I24 (I/O group) turned ON/opened
- B-contact (Normal Close) external fault input cut off the inverter output
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
Eliminate the cause of the external fault in the circuit connected to the external-trip terminal, then reset.
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
