iG5A EXT — External Trip A (EtA)
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- The terminal set to "18 (External fault-A)" in I20-I24 (I/O group) turned ON
- A-contact (Normal Open) external fault input cut off the inverter output
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
Eliminate the cause of the external fault in the circuit connected to the external-trip terminal, then reset.
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
