iG5A GFt — Ground Fault
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- Ground fault current detected at the inverter output
- Caused by output short, fast accel/decel vs. load GD2, output-wiring ground fault, or damaged motor insulation
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
Check output wiring and the inverter output terminals; increase accel/decel time; replace the motor if insulation is damaged.
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
