InverteriG5AVerification pending — cross-check with the official manual
iG5A OVT — OVT / LVT
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- DC link voltage abnormality
- Overvoltage (OVT): occurs when the DC link voltage exceeds the overvoltage trip level (approx
- 820V for 380V class) — supply voltage fluctuation or excessive regenerative energy
- Undervoltage (LVT): occurs when the DC link voltage drops — insufficient input voltage or momentary power loss
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
- Overvoltage (OVT): extend the deceleration time, add a braking resistor, and check the input voltage
- Undervoltage (LVT): verify that the input supply voltage is supplied normally
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
