FR-E800 E.EP — Encoder phase fault
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- The inverter output is shut off when the rotation command of the inverter differs from the actual motor rotation direction detected from the encoder during offline auto tuning
- This protective function is not available in the initial status. (This protective function is available for the standard model, the Ethernet model, and the safety communication model.) • Check for mis-wiring of the encoder
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
• Perform connection and wiring securely. • Change the Pr.359 setting.
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
