FR-E800 E.OD — Position fault
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- The inverter output is shut off when the difference between the position command and position feedback exceeds Pr.427 Excessive level error during position control
- This protective function is not available in the initial status. • Check that the position detecting encoder mounting orientation matches the parameter. • Check that the load is not large. • Check that correct values are set in Pr.427
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
- • Check the parameters. • Reduce the load. • Set Pr.427 and Pr.369 correctly. • While "11 or 12" is set in Pr.538, to turn OFF the power or reset the inverter after the output shutoff, wait at least one second

Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
