FR-E800 E.SAF — Safety circuit fault
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
• The inverter output is shut off when a safety circuit fault occurs. • The inverter output is shut off if the either of the wire between S1 and PC or S2 and PC becomes non- conductive while using the safety stop function. • When the safety stop function is not used, the inverter output is shut off when the shorting wire between terminals S1 and PC or across S2 and PC is disconnected. • Check that

How to fix it?
- • When using the safety stop function, check that the wiring of terminals S1, S2 and PC is correct and the safety stop input signal source such as a safety relay module is operating properly. • When the safety stop function is not used, short across terminals S1 and PC and across S2 and PC with shorting wires

Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
