V20 F51 — Parameter EEPROM fault
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- Read or write failure while accessing the EEPROM
- Can also be caused by the EEPROM being full (too many parameters changed)
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
- Power-cycle the inverter
- If the fault remains, perform a factory reset and re-parameterize
- If the EEPROM is full, return some parameters to defaults and power-cycle; if still faulty, replace the inverter
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
