L7N AL-10 — AL-10 IPM Fault
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- IPM fault / over current (H/W). Causes: motor or encoder cable abnormality/short, parameter (motor ID 0x2000 / encoder type 0x2001 / encoder format 0x200
- mismatch, low motor phase resistance, or apparatus conflict/binding.
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
- Check motor/encoder wiring for short
- Match motor-label info to parameters
- Inspect motor phase resistance
- Check equipment for conflict/binding
- If it recurs after power cycling, replace the drive
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
