Occurs when no encoder is present while using a function that requires one.
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
- Check whether the control method requires an encoder — verify in the motor group parameters (MOT1, MOT
- whether V/F sensor or vector control is in use. If the control method does not require an encoder, change the control method; if it does require an encoder, install the encoder.
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
