CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- Internal hardware fault in servo amplifier circuit board. Sub-codes indicate: current detection circuit malfunction (17.1), amplifier recognition signal read failure (17.3/17.4), axis selection rotary switch (SW
- read failure (17.5), or other board-level anomaly (17.6/17.7). Can be triggered by external noise.
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
- Disconnect all cables except power and verify if fault repeats
- Investigate and eliminate noise, high ambient temperature, or vibration
- For sub-codes 17.3–17.7, replacement of the servo amplifier is the primary remedy
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
