CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- Communication error between servo amplifier and PC or controller via USB, serial, or Modbus RTU
- Eight sub-codes cover: receive error (8E.1), checksum error (8E.2), character error (8E.3), command error (8E.4), data number error (8E.5), Modbus receive error (8E.6), Modbus frame error (8E.7), Modbus CRC error (8E.8)

How to fix it?
- Verify communication settings on PC/controller (protocol selection, baud rate, parity, station number)
- Inspect and replace communication cable if faulty
- Ensure transmitted data conforms to the specified communication protocol
- Replace servo amplifier if fault persists after confirming correct settings and cable
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
