MR-JE AL.1E — Encoder Initial Communication Error 2

CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- Encoder hardware malfunction during initial power-on communication
- Unlike AL.16 (which includes cable and amplifier faults), AL.1E specifically indicates encoder hardware failure (sub-code 1E.1: Encoder malfunction)
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
- Replace the servo motor (which contains the encoder) and check if the alarm is eliminated
- Investigate and eliminate nearby noise, abnormal ambient temperature, or vibration
- If fault remains after motor replacement, replace the servo amplifier
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
