ServoMR-JEVerification pending — cross-check with the official manual
MR-JE AL.32 — Overcurrent
Trip — immediate stop
CAUSE
Why does it occur?
- Current higher than the permissible level detected in servo amplifier output
- Causes: servo amplifier malfunction, ground fault or short in motor power cable, servo motor fault, dynamic brake malfunction, incorrect encoder cable routing, high servo gain causing oscillation, or external noise
REMEDY · Step by step
How to fix it?
- Disconnect motor power cables (U/V/W) — if alarm persists, replace servo amplifier. Check motor cable insulation for shorts. Measure motor winding insulation to ground. For software overcurrent (32.2), reduce speed control gain (Pr.PB0
- to eliminate oscillation.
Do not reset repeatedly before identifying the cause. Repeated resets while ignoring a trip/alarm can cause secondary damage (IGBT failure, motor winding damage, etc.).
